The Wimmer manufacturing company is a second-generation family enterprise today led by the brothers Günther and Thomas Wimmer. Almost 40 years ago, their parents Hans and Gerda Wimmer founded the manufacturing company and passed on their enthusiasm for wood as a natural product to their sons. At that time, the company still specialised in interior fit-outs and the high-quality production of traditional wooden ceilings.

From the middle of the 80s, the family manufacturing company concentrated on the production of wooden flooring and, in the following decades, developed an expertise boasted by few manufacturers. Since then, every Wimmer wooden floor has been a special one-off creation inspired by nature’s individuality and produced to fit in with the architectural character of a room. Worked from the best wood, refined with the best quality oils and waxes and created with the most sophisticated technique of all: craftsmanship.
